Takirra Investment Corporation Ltd is a privately owned investment company based in Cyprus and established back in the early 90s. Since our incorporation more than 30 years ago, we have been engaged in several successful investment cooperations with multinational enterprises with their head offices in various European Union countries.
The main area of our investments historically was and nowadays still is the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the pharmaceutical industry. A corner-stone investment of Takirra Investment Corporation Ltd is the 50% shareholding in the Nutricia business in Poland for the production and distribution of baby food and special nutrition products.
We are as well an investor in commercial and private real estate. Our team operates from its offices in the city center of Larnaca.

Antonis Avraam

Antonis has over 35 years of experience in international business management. After graduating from university in Australia and first experience in accounting he moved to Cyprus. For the last 25 years he has lived in Cyprus working for PWC and Deloitte and more recently as managing partner in his own business and member of the board of directors in several international privately held companies.
Antonis is with Takirra since 2016. He leads the team as Managing Director of the company and brings international management and business development experience in multinational and multicultural environments to the team.
George Koutsos

George is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with more than 20 years of solid finance and management experience working for most of his career with large multinational groups, leading and advising on all finance related issues.
He has substantial experience in dealing with stakeholders at different levels of the organization and coaching teams. George has profound knowledge in finance, including strategic business reviews, financial planning and analysis as well as accounting. He is accustomed to managing multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced, deadline driven environments working effectively alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Tasos Zacharia
Group Head of Tax BSc Accounting and Finance, ACCA show bio
Tasos is a seasoned business professional with more than 20 years of international experience gained in the UK, working for large multinational groups in the areas of tax, finance, customs and compliance.
Throughout his career, Tasos held various senior management positions in large multinational groups. He led international multi-disciplinary teams and successfully completed various high-profile projects. His international working experience has equipped him well to deal effectively with complex tax issues.
Before joining Takirra Investment, Tasos served as a UK Director of a global manufacturing group. He previously worked in various international groups operating in engineering, technology as well as the oil and gas sectors.
Margarita Christoforou
Finance Manager BSc, FCCA show bio
Margarita has profound international finance experience and holds a Public & Business Administration degree from the University of Cyprus. In 2006 she started her professional training in KPMG, where she was engaged until 2013 in the audit department. During the practice and post qualification, Margarita performed audits and related assignment for various companies including multinational, listed, and local companies.
Margarita is a member of ACCA and ICPAC since 2009. Before joining Takirra she worked in an international group of companies where she held various positions in the finance department.
Margarita has extensive experience in financial management and reporting, IFRS, audit, accounting and taxation.
Jennifer Donneaux

Jennifer is a professional tax expert with over 8 years of experience gained in Jersey and Big Four firms in Cyprus.
She has profound knowledge in international taxation including tax compliance and tax reporting.
Over the years, Jennifer acquired substantial experience in advising on cross-border transactions including group and financing restructuring.
Jennifer is a member of the UK Association of Taxation Technicians and has an Advance Diploma in International Taxation.
Savvas Avraam

Savvas is a professional tax expert with over 9 years of experience both in the audit and tax functions of a Big Four firm in Cyprus.
Savvas has experience in assisting various local and international companies in various tax projects as well as to comply with the Cyprus tax legislation.
Savvas has extensive knowledge and understanding of the Cyprus tax legislation and over the years he has developed the skills and experience to understand and manage a wide spectrum of projects in line with company requirements. Savvas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants and has a Master in Business Administration.
Constantinos Constantinides

Constantinos has degrees in both Law and Computer Science. Upon completion of his law degree he joined one of Cyprus’ largest law firms where he advised international clients with assets spanning the energy, real estate, logistics, retail, media and hotel industries. He is well versed in the day-to-day management of the legal affairs of Cyprus companies, partnerships and trusts. Through his 9-year career, Constantinos has gained substantial expertise in managing and conducting cross-border financing and acquisition transactions, is experienced in drafting of all manner of agreements and commercial documents and has consulted on commercial, corporate restructurings, joint venture and contract law related matters.
Constantinos is currently involved in all legal matters of the group and its investments and also serves as the company secretary.

“One Dream One Wish” Fashion Show… with a Wish
We were a proud sponsor of the “fashion show for a good cause” which took place on November 1, 2023 and was organized by Karaiskakio Foundation and the Pancypriot Association for children with cancer and related diseases ‘One Dream One Wish’.
The event was hosted at the Electricity Authority Head Offices under the auspices of the First Lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides, with the aim of financially supporting the projects of the two charitable organizations which for many years have been working on spreading joy and hope to children. The wonderful event was attended by several members of our team.
All proceeds raised will be used to fund the activities of the two charities.
“One Dream One Wish” Annual Event
On September 21, 2022, representatives of our company visited the offices of the Cyprus Association "One Dream One Wish" where financial aid was handed over to the families of children suffering from cancer, leukemia and other blood diseases.
The event was organized by the board members of the association with the aim to bring together the various sponsors with the affected children and their families, to be informed about the financial difficulties they are going through and to provide them with economic support. The economic support aims at the partial relief from the accumulated expenses and debts facing the parents, mainly because of the very expensive therapies of the children abroad.
The gathering gave us the opportunity as a sponsor to share the feeling of giving and help the association’s mission to support the cancer-afflicted children and their families.
Larnaca Children's Shelter
On September 23, 2022, we had the pleasure to be invited at the inauguration of the newly created playground at Larnaca Children’s Shelter.
As part of our corporate social responsibility efforts and as a commitment towards society, we have become one of the sponsors of the Larnaca Children’s Shelter, and we try to support and contribute towards improving the life quality of the children living there. The new playground involved a tremendous amount of work and commitment, and we are pleased to have played a part in making a wonderful dream into a reality by purchasing some of the toys for the yard and contributed to the development of this new playground.
Playing isn't just about having fun or distracting kids. It is a crucial part of a child's development. It enables them to explore ideas and different ways of behaving, it tests their limits and helps them grow in the process. Children can benefit from a variety of creative toys and products and by giving them time to play and interact with other children, they are helped to develop into self-confident people.
With the cooperation and support of the staff and management of the shelter, along with various other child-sensitive organizations, we tried to improve the building facilities in order to create a warm and comfortable environment and provide to these children every possible moral and psychological help and support they need for a positive future.
“One Dream One Wish” Annual Event
On 10th November our representatives were pleased to attend an event in Larnaca, organized by “One Dream One Wish” Foundation.
The event was organized with the means to bring together the affected children and their families with the various sponsors and the Foundation’s Representatives where gifts from childrens’ ‘wish lists’ were personally given out to them by the sponsors.
The gathering gave the opportunity to the sponsors and affected families to get to know each other, exchange views and share their experiences.
Larnaca Children's Shelter
Takirra Investment Corporation Ltd is pleased to have contributed to the Larnaca Children’s Shelter with the construction of a shade port for their courtyard at their new premises where Larnaca Children’s Shelter has recently relocated to, donated by the Government.
The Shelter has been operating since 1978 and provides a safe place for children between the ages of 6-18, some of which reside permanently at the Shelter.
Antonis Avraam, Managing Director states: “It is our pleasure to contribute towards improving the life quality of the children that use the Shelter and we would like to thank the staff and management of the Shelter, for their continuous and tireless work supporting the children.”

As part of our corporate social responsibility activities and as a commitment towards society, Takirra Investment Corporation Ltd has become a sponsor of the “One Dream One Wish” Foundation, the Cyprus Association for Children with Cancer and Related Diseases based in Nicosia. Our representatives have met with the President of the Foundation, Mr. George Penintaex, who shared stories and details of the Foundation’s truly amazing work and contributions for cancer-struck children and families in Cyprus.
